Twit, Great app. Have most of shows in my podcast app but this app just works fabulous. Best buck I ever spent. --- FightCrazy

Works great, listen the back ground, change video streams, download past episodes, playback at variable speeds... heck playback at variable speeds AS you download! Just Great.. --- MapleRidgeKen

Thank you for this app with very low price. I love to listen to Twit Radio. Used to listen from itunes radio and podcast, but, now, I can listen using this app so conveniently. --- Melbournehardt

The TWiT.tv Netcast Network with Leo Laporte features the #1 ranked technology podcast This Week in Tech, along with over 20 other top-ranked online shows.

Since 2005, our shows have provided news, commentary, help, how-to and perspective on the latest trends in digital tech from seasoned experts and journalists.

All of our shows are free. TWiT is supported by advertising and listener donations. We limit the number of ads on each show, and we only accept advertising from companies whose products or services benefit our audience.

As weve grown, our facilities have expanded into a multimillion dollar studio and a full staff to produce over 30 hours of content a week. Our live stream lets you watch and listen to our shows being produced, along with other incidental coverage of tech issues, breaking news, and Leos personal life. You can watch live every day of the week (and re-runs when were not live) at http://live.twit.tv/.

Pros and cons of TWiT app for iPhone and iPad

TWiT app good for

I love this app and it can come in handly for shows you want to cover live.
Best iPhone/iPod touch app EVER! Great way to listen to TWiT Live and the calendar makes it just that much better
Does everything well, streams nicely and did EVERYTHING I would want but video and I know thats not the programers fault I love TWiT and I love this app
Great app, but you can only get the live audio feed, not the live video feed. If they added live video, then Id give this 5/5
Good app for listening to Leo and to all those who want video the ustream app does that. Love chat integration!! But the calamder no longer seems to work. Give it five stars if this is fixed
Its great having instant access to up to date and relevant information about all tech. The interviews are terrific.

Some bad moments

A number of reviewers are confusing Leo and TWiT with this app. Leo and TWiT are great. The interface on this app is terrible. In so many ways, terrible. It does, however, give you direct access to whatever is being streamed on the TWiT network, but you can use most Internet radio tuners to get the same feed and avoid this sub-adequate interface. Im saying it isnt even adequate. If it were an employee, its yearly review would be summarized thusly: Does not meet expectations. Too many opportunity areas to list. If it were a horticultural experiment, it would be summarized: FTAPUSCLC (Failure To Achieve Photosynthesis Under Strictly Controlled Lab Conditions).
Makes watching the video on the iPhone useless. The free mediafly TWiT app fixes that problem.
I purchased this app last night and within 10 minutes the app crashed 3 times! Everytime I tried to "go to video" it hung and crashed. EVERYTIME! When at home it worked fine which suggests that the program has issues over 3G network. Yet I can stream the video just fine from the live streaming site.
I just bought this app and its crashing its not even opening! Dont buy
I bought this app to see if its better then the free one available. Unfortunately its not. I find this one strange to navigate. I use the free one as I like how its laid out and it has AirPlay support as well.
In brief, its crashy, the UI is very clunky, and if you leave it paused longer than a minute, it quits a recorded show and goes back to the live stream. It does not store shows, at all, so when it auto quits or crashes, it redownloads the entire show. Worst, it doesnt save where you were in a show, so you have to scan through to get back where you were. The calendar is nice, but no reminders, and theres no way to link right from it to the listing for a recorded show.
